This website and the Bomber Pilot book were created by John Sharpe who is a retired journalist and amateur pilot with a keen interest in aviation history. He now flies a Pawnee tow plane and is a gliding instructor at Southern Cross Gliding Club in Sydney, Australia. He has many hours flying aerobatic aircraft and is a former Australian Aerobatic Champion.
